Relaxing

Finally feeling back to normal again, and thought I would have a little fun on the old internet.
The opening image for this post, it's supposed to be me, according to my design at Meez. Kinda cute eh?

Spent last evening with Paul and Chantel, watching movies. We haven't done that for a long time, and it was nice and relaxing - and best of all - 3 CHIC flicks.

Griffin and Phoenix
Very emotional story of life with cancer.

Georgia Rule
Not at all what I thought it was going to be about.
Circumstances do shape us into the people we are.
The Holiday
Trading spaces with someone really can change your life.

Sometimes I think about things way too much, but, watching The Holiday made me think.
Would I trade houses with someone?
Would I be okay with someone coming into my home for two weeks?
Yes, I think I would, and I would be curious to see how things would turn out. I would like to go somewhere far away, somewhere completely different.
Would you do this?

No Elastic in Her Panties

I don't know about any of you, but I like to take care of my undies. I don't like them when they are old, stretched out, no elastic, you know what I mean.
It causes me to be uncomfortable, it makes me grouchy, and I don't care for the feeling at all. If I had to go for one day wearing bad underwear, I am afraid you would not want to be near me.
Well I have had a run in with a lady
(on 2 occasions now) and I am sure she has no elastic in her panties. There is no other excuse for her behavior (that I can think of) then she needs some brand new gitch.
We all get tired, cranky, and feel overworked, but I don't think there is any reason to treat another human being with disrespect - unless you are wearing bad underwear.

Shopping today (Saturday) went really well until we had to go to Walmart. Not that we couldn't find what we wanted, as we did, and even quite quickly. You know, it wasn't even too crowded or busy, all was good until we got in the checkout line.
About a year ago, this lady was our cashier, I have never forgotten her. I don't know her name, I don't know her at all, and I really don't care to.
Today, I was only paying for two things, but one of them had that foreign object in it, you know the ones that they have to remove with a certain tool? The one that if not removed, that little "beep beep beep" will go off when you go out the door.
I call that little thing a "kinocker."
From the moment I realized it was her, and I knew that I had an item with an "kinocker" - I wanted to switch lineups and go on with my good day.
Would she remove it this time without me having to ask her to? Please, please, let her remove it, I will pay and be on my way, and I won't have to ask her a thing.
But, these wishes were only wishes.
Without a hello, good afternoon, not a word, she took my items, scanned the first, put it in the bag, and then the second, and put it in the bag. The second one had the "kinocker."
Okay, so I thought maybe while I swiped my debit card and was doing my thing, she would get that little tool out and remove that annoying "kinocker."
No such luck.
My item was paid for, she had the receipt in her hand, and she motioned it - to me or in the bag. Still not a word.
With two deep breaths, I said, "I'll take the receipt with me, and could you take the object off the top item in the bag for us, please?"
No Elastic in Her Panties replied - "What object are you talking about?"
Me - "You know," as I reached over into the bag - "this one."
No Elastic in Her Panties groaned and said - "Ma'am, this item does not usually have this attached to it, {{{groan}}} that's why I never checked for it. I do my job and I can't help it if the rest of the workers here do not."
I cannot quote the rest of her words, but it was a huge excuse - for no reason at all, complaining about the long ridiculous hours she worked, and how 2 people had phoned in sick today, yadda yadda yadda.
Me - "Thankyou, I did not need your explanation, but if you would kindly remove the object, we will continue on with our day."
No Elastic in Her Panties near screeched and said (as she removed the "kinocker") - "Good for you, here you go, I hope you do have a good day, some of us have to work for the measly pay we get around here."
With that, I took my bag, and left the store - without the "beep, beep, beep."
Yes, I should have gone directly to customer service, but believe me, I have her name, and I will check the receipt to see if there is a clerk number on it, but she will be reported.
And I will go to sleep tonight, hoping and praying that this lady made enough money today to treat herself to some brand new panties.

This Tickles my Fancy

I am busy uploading photos to Black's Photography, I have a huge amount to get printed, and they are having a sale right now, so perfect timing. The uploading time is so slow, near driving me crazy, so I am finding things to do in between.
Ebay is where I go, I should never do that, as I always seem to find something that tickles my fancy. How I ended up in the bedding section, not sure, but I really love this.

The auction is just for the bedding, the other items I love, but I think we could decorate the rest of our bedroom to match, if we painted, and did a bit of furniture/accessory relocation throughout the house.
I haven't purchased it, but oh, it is so tempting, I love it, but
I always tell everyone to put things on their wish list, so I will do the same.
I guess, lol, I better show Paul first, since it's his bedroom too, and see if he even likes it. I'm sure he will, but he won't like the idea that we would have to paint, lol.
Yes, on the top of my wishlist it goes! And, I think I better find another place to keep me amused while I upload photos.
